There is a long history of painting interiors and for those of you who love painting a pretty space, cool objects and patterns, painting interiors is the perfect genre of painting.

Bring in a photo of your favorite room, your childhood bedroom, a corner of your favorite restaurant, anywhere that is special to you. We will work on palettes, light and shadow and composition and find inspiration in everybody from Lois Dodd to Fairfield Porter to Matisse.

This class is great for all levels of experience, but having a little experience with mixing colors will help.
