This week-long intensive is for people with some painting experience who would like to explore their own story on canvas while improving their skills.

We will work on several important aspects of successful narrative painting - landscape & interior, palette, symbols and figure painting. Over the course of a week, participants will complete one large narrative painting and a series of smaller works that will tell us about their world, their experiences and their emotions.

The larger piece will be ongoing throughout the week but each session will start with an exercise that focuses on one visual element and will help inform the larger piece.

Level of experience - Some experience with acrylic or oil paint and a basic understanding of color, mixing paint and value are required. But you do not need to be an expert to take this workshop. Get in touch if you have any questions!
