The Painting School Art Exhibit

We are so excited to invite you to show your art in our group art show at The Painting School on Friday, Nov. 7th, from 5:00 -9:00!
Bring in your art and invite your friends & family to come to the opening and see your art!
FACTS:
Who can participate: If you have taken a weekly class at The Painting School between September 2024 and now we invite you to bring 1 or 2 paintings to the studio for inclusion in the exhibit.
Deadline: We need to receive your paintings no later than Tuesday, November 4th if you would like to be included in the show.
How many pieces you can submit: 1 or 2 artworks that are small to medium in size.
How to prepare your work: If your painting is on a stretched canvas you don’t need to do anything else. If your work is on paper or panel you will need to put it in a frame that is ready to hang.
Selling artwork: We encourage you to sell your art if you are interested in doing so! We will not take any portion of your sales and will not be involved in the financial transaction.
If you are at the opening and somebody wants to buy from you directly that will be great, you can arrange that in person. But we will also create a QR code to hang next to any paintings that are for sale. That code will link to your website or your email and allow people to contact you and arrange for the purchase.
If you have more paintings than the paintings you are exhibiting that you would like to sell, we encourage you to start a website (Squarespace websites are incredibly easy to make) or create a Google document like this that showcases other available works.
What pieces should you submit: Please bring the art that you love and are most proud of. Of course, if you would like some feedback from us we are here to provide some.
Registering your artwork: When you bring in your work to the studio there will be a stack of registration cards by the door. Fill out the card with your name, the title of your piece, the price if you are selling it and the year that it was painted. If you would like to sell the piece or sell other artworks also include either a link to your website or your contact information.
