This 3.5-hour intensive workshop will provide you all of the basics you need to paint on your own at home and all of the skills you need to join one of our intermediate-level weekly adult classes. This is a great class to take with a friend who also loves finding new, creative passions!

In this class you will learn:

• how to use acrylic paint and mix colors

• using light and shadow to make an objects 3D

• color theory

• creating smart compositions and depth

• how to paint objects, figures and portraits

• all about art history and contemporary artists

This is the perfect workshop for total beginners, but it is also a great refresher course for people who painted in the past or didn’t learn the foundations of color, color mixing, materials and more.
