This 8-week Wednesday morning class is for anybody who has done some painting and wants to move beyond the basics into developing a more distinct style, exploring specific themes and series, and finding greater self expression in their art.

But we will also keep working on the visual elements like color harmony, value, how to use line and texture, figure and portrait painting.

Every week of this 8-week adult class in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, we will find inspiration in the work of various artists from art history and contemporary art.

Cost: $400 if you supply paint and canvas/paper
