Join this 3-hour workshop with Sara Woster to learn how to use a wide range of materials - paint, pencil, cloth, collage materials, found objects and more - to create artworks that have interesting surfaces and emotive marks and provide a tactile path for connecting with the viewer in a deep way. Enjoy trying a new creative experience and enjoy the mindfulness and intense concentration that comes with playing with a wide variety of mark making materials, mediums and adhesives.

We will look at the work of Braque and Picasso, Njideka Akunyili Crosby and Matisse, Rauschenberg, Romare Bearden and Hannah Hoch for inspiration.

You will be encouraged to make several artworks that allow you to experiment and play with the materials.
