This 5-week class with Sara Woster is an extension of our Painting Basics series, so it is a perfect class for those painters with minimal experience or painters who have not painted for a while and would like to be reminded of some of the basics of color, composition and the other visual elements.

Each class will focus on a great artist and explore some of the qualities that make their work so great. This will allow us to elevate our own skills while also making meaningful art and learning about art history and contemporary art.

Some classes will explore dull and vivid colors with Matisse, color relationships with Etal Adnan, and painting an expressive figure like Alice Neel.

When: Thursday mornings, 10-12 noon
