Join Sara Woster at The Painting School in Carroll Gardens for a 2 ½ hour acrylic painting workshop that explores the colors, shapes and formal elements in the great works by legendary minimalist artists. We will look at the work of Dan Flavin, James Turrell, Jennie C. Jones, Carmen Herrera, Anne Truitt, Sol LeWitt and others for inspiration and a deeper understanding of what makes a great minimalist artwork.

The workshop will include experimenting with fluorescent and luminous colors in order to create glowing, minimalist masterpieces.

Level of experience: This workshop is great for all levels of experience, from total beginner to experienced painter.

Cost: $60 includes all art materials, including works on stretched canvas to take home, wine and sparkling water.
