In this painting workshop we will look at the work of Rose Hilton and learn how softening the edges of our subjects plays with depth and allows a painter to create a dream-like state. The looseness of this approach makes it a great first workshop for new painters and a way for experienced painters to shake up their creative practice.

We will also look at painters like Claude Monet and Jennifer Packer to see how they soften their edges. We will experiment with mediums and brush techniques to get those dreamy, blurry edges.

Bring in an image of your favorite landscape, interior or people and we’ll bring it into a dreamier place.
