The Painting School is so excited to offer the amazing opportunity for children entering 7th or 8th grade to spend a week this summer getting great at drawing with arts educator Louise Butler.

This camp is ideal for students interested in improving their ability to draw from observation and anybody who might be considering applying to portfolio audition high schools. 

Drawing from observation: Students will develop a variety of pencil techniques while working with still life objects and self portraiture while also having fun and socializing!

When: July 27th - July 31st, 1:00 - 4:00

About the instructor

Louise Butler is a local arts educator with extensive classroom experience teaching students from middle school to college level. She is a NYS certified visual arts teacher and serves on the executive committee of New York State Art Teachers Association.
