Sara builds her programming for young artists around the growing body of scientific evidence that play is what results in powerful creative thinkers and critical thinkers. (There is also a selfish motivation behind the super fun programming because Sara likes to have a good time while making art!)

This means that at the camps for young artist we gamify everything and the campers take the lead on what kind of art they make. We offer a wide range of materials and we are there for instruction and guidance, but the kids decide how to spend their time, whether they want to paint 100 paintings of their pet rabbit or make a miniature version of the Statue of Liberty out of toothpicks.

We will keep the camp small so your child will be able to direct their own artistic direction while getting lots of guidance and help from us. We will have a lot of fun, drink sparkling water, listen to inspiring music, and make great art!
