The after school open studios at The Painting School are built around the growing body of scientific evidence that play is what results in powerful creative thinkers and critical thinkers who are confident in their ability to be creative.
We create a fun and calm environment built around beauty, play and self direction where kids are the people deciding what art they will make and how they will make it. The teachers are there to give them guidance on techniques and best practices, build their confidence, and make sure they have the art supplies they need.
