Join us for a therapeutic workshop led by artist Yuri Shimojo. She will begin with a slideshow introducing her meditative drawing practice, followed by a unique art-making workshop. 

Yuri will encourage each person to find their own voice using Japanese Watercolors, traditionally freshly ground sumi ink, or even pencils and markers. All materials will be provided, and experimentation is encouraged.

This is a workshop for everyone - especially for those who want to have quiet time with your creative flow, and for those who don’t know where to begin. Yuri will explain the “zen in-between” - rather than “zoning out” - while making marks.
