In this fun and expressive workshop we will find inspiration in the work of painters from art history and contemporary art who create vibrant, lush and wild worlds, push the traditional boundaries of color, and elevate their paintings with surrealist tropes & symbols.

We will look at the work of Henri Rousseau, Frida Kahlo, Miroco Machiko and other amazing artists.

Their work will inspire our own lush paintings that create a world of magic realism and exuberant wilderness as we play with the color wheel.
